Facebook is off the Stock Exchange. The announcement came last week when the company officially changed its corporate name to Meta. Google did something similar a few years ago with Alphabet, but this seems to be a whole new direction for Facebook as it points to the firm's future in something called the Metaverse.
If you've never heard of the metaverse, you're not alone, as it's been primarily a thing for sci-fi fans. However, parents of teens who are familiar with Minecraft or Fortnite, will likely understand.
