Like annual doctor visits and semi-annual dental cleanings, PWM's quarterly Check-ins are a sort of preventative maintenance. Check-ins deliver incredibly valuable sentiment data back to us that can spur a conversation at just the right time.
Each Check-in consists of two questions: "How are you feeling about the markets?" and "How are you feeling about your financial future?" After answering these questions, you will see adaptive analytics to help see what is "normal" for your portfolio. More importantly, any "fearful" or "anxious" replies will be the catalyst for us to reach out to you so that we can dive deeper into either the portfolio or your personal situation.
Currently, we only send out one Check-in per household...and the last one went out over the weekend. So if you did not receive one, check with your partner, then discuss.

A reminder that Amazon will end its charity donation program, AmazonSmile, on February 20. This decision comes after a series of other cost-cutting measures, including 18,000 layoffs. Through the program, which has been in operation since 2013, Amazon donates 0.5% of eligible purchases to a charity of the shopper's choice. The program has donated over $400 million to U.S. charities and more than $449 million globally, according to Amazon. In 2022, AmazonSmile's average donation per charity was $230 in the U.S. However, some organizations — especially small ones — say the donations were incredibly helpful to them. And many shoppers who use AmazonSmile have expressed their dismay on social media and shared the impact the program has had on the charities they support. Amazon said it will help charities transition by "providing them with a one-time donation equivalent to three months of what they earned in 2022 through the program" and allowing them to continue receiving donations until the
program's official end in February.
