here are two of our favorites worth sharing.
** Your Money

The pandemic has certainly reminded Americans how much they value their space. This has led to a boom in housing. Prices are rising quickly because demand for housing is incredibly strong and supply equally lean. The work- and school-from-home culture of the pandemic only increased demand that had already been rising from the millennial generation as they age into their homeowning years.
* In the past year, homeowners with mortgages have seen their equity increase by 10.8%.
* That equates to a collective $1 trillion in gained equity, or an average $17,000 per homeowner.
* This is the largest equity gain in more than six years.

Going on a safari is a bucket list item for many. In the time of COVID-19, Travel+Leisure allows you to take this trip without leaving the comfort of your couch or incurring any expense. The pictures are beautiful, and there are several live-stream webcams from various locations that you can view. It can also be a great tool to help you plan a real in-person safari in the future.

It's the Holiday Season. Instead of focusing on all the things we can't do and lamenting on how different things are this year, take control and create the Holiday Spirit with the following ideas:
* Family movie night with classics such as White Christmas, A Christmas Story, It's a Wonderful Life, etc. and popcorn!
* Decorate, decorate, decorate--especially pulling out those heirloom decorations that bring back fond memories of Holidays past.
* Nothing seems like family and the holidays like the smell of baking cookies. Too much trouble? You can buy pre-made cookie dough and bake them at home. Bonus if you buy pre-made sugar cookie dough and decorate it together.
* Make hot chocolate or warm cider. Of course, adults can add a little something something in theirs.
* Fill the house with music. Music triggers memories so make sure you pick ones that really bring out happy memories.
* Find, at least, 30 minutes a day just for you. Watch a favorite TV episode or read a book or enjoy a cup of your favorite hot drink. Just remember to relax and take deep breaths.
Remember, life is 99% how you react to it. Help yourself and your family get into the spirit and focus on your blessings.
