Your Money

April is National Social Security Month. It, therefore, seems the perfect reminder to review your account and/or check your statement. The statement has important Social Security information and, if applicable, estimates of your future benefits. If you are still working, the Administration encourages you to check your statement yearly to make sure your earnings record is correct.

It's been a long time since the government stopped sending paper statements, so you must do it all online now. To view your most recent statement, visit www.socialsecurity.gov/reviewyourstatement and sign in to your account.

Here’s an article from Forbes that shows which states residents are leaving and where they are moving.
