Your Money
While no one expects emergencies, many people still find themselves facing unexpected or catastrophic events. Having the proper financial documents and information in place can be a huge help to you and your family members if something were ever to happen to you.
Key documents for all adults:
- Health-care directive
- Durable power of attorney
- Last will and testament
There are many other documents to keep organized as well like your social security card, government ID, bank statements, tax returns, etc., etc. If you need a complete list, we're happy to provide ours upon request.
Most importantly, let someone know where these documents are or who to call to get them. Nothing worse than doing all that work and no one can find them when they're needed.
