Your Life
By now, most people have returned to work from their holiday travels. For those who have traveled far and are still experiencing jetlag, this posting is for you. Jet lag disrupts your circadian rhythms, which signals your body when to wake and sleep. Jetlag can include one or several symptoms and is more difficult the farther you travel. Tips for limiting its effects include arriving early, having plenty of rest pre-trip, adjusting your schedule before your trip, correctly timing bright light exposure, staying on the new schedule, staying hydrated, and trying to sleep on the plane if it’s nighttime at your destination.
