Your Life
Our feet are the workhorses of our existence, so keeping them (and, therefore, you) healthy is critical. The prevailing rule of thumb has been to spend about 2 hours on your feet standing or moving about instead of sitting. A professor & expert, Dr. John Buckley, advised that if you’re standing, you need to do so for five or more minutes at a time, but if you’re moving, 2 minutes is enough to give benefits. In addition, your feet and toes can reveal a lot about possible health conditions, and their importance is often underestimated. Feet and toe health discomfort can range the gamut from cold or burning feet to pain to discoloration to shape to toenails, sores, itch, and more. While most minor feet and toe issues are probably ignored as a fact of life, it doesn’t hurt to be more informed about other serious problems these indicators might be telling you.
