Tax season is stressful enough without tracking down tax documents or wondering when they’ll be available. That’s why Schwab created the 1099 dashboard, which helps eliminate some guesswork.
Schwab’s 1099 Dashboard provides a quick, personalized way to view the expected availability dates of 1099 Composite forms for your eligible brokerage accounts with taxable activity in 2022. While some forms will begin posting this week, Schwab expects to have all 1099s posted online by February 17th. Your 1099 information will also be available for direct download that same day.
Just to let you know, corrections are common with 1099s and corrected forms may come out as late as mid-March. K-1 Partnership Returns (if you hold private investments) are also very slow to arrive and usually force a filing for an extension.
You can access the dashboard online at schwab.com/1099dashboard or via the 1099 Tax Forms screen on the Schwab Mobile app.
